Cubicle 5

1 hour web design, that’s what this was. The C5 guys are good friends of mine. They wanted a website design, but since they are a startup they didn’t have a big budget. In fact they had practically no budget. They challenged me with one hour web design services, and said they would put up whatever I cam up with in 1 hr. However they specifically said stop at an hour. They didn’t want me giving them something for nothing. I started the clock and started spewing design in a hurry. I actually found the speed and the giant time clock a rush. It also helped me not to linger on one design element to long.

I soon found myself with 15 minutes to go and I was still tinkering with the logo. I basically created the bottom half of the page in less than 10 min. Now in actuality it took a little more than 1 hr. I spent some time before the clock stated sketching ideas and gathering elements, but still it was super fun. I’ve added a bit of color since the first design but this is pretty much what I cam up with. What do you think?
