It has been awhile since my last post so this one will contain a little bit of everything. Sorry if this one turns out to be a rambling post.

Some of the reasoning behind my lack of posting is the fact that I am working on several sites at the moment (as well as my day job). The two main ones are jcprovideo.com & jcphotographydallas.com. The jcphotographydallas.com site is being designed and created from scratch. The jcprovideo is begin recoding to become more accessible as well as run completely on the Wordpress CMS. Matt Brett has inspired me to crack into the Worpress experience for hosting more than a blog, but rather my entire site. If you have a chance to visit his site you will be amazed that it is all done through Wordpress. So far I have found Wordpress to be very enjoyable and easy for newbees to jump right in and start adding content without messing anything up.

With that begin said I have held off on posting because I wanted to move jasoncypret.com to a different hosting company. This way I could fully utilize Wordpress and other offerings not available with my previous host. I just moved the entire site to Bluehost and i must say the entire experience was very easy. Be on the lookout for changes to this site as I eventually will place the entire site within the Wordpress CMS.

I have a new job. I am now the Assistant Manager of Brand Content Publishing for Hilton Hotels Corp. (or Hilton Blackstone). Basically I will still be doing a lot of designing, but it will be more for brand related promotions. I will continue be lead contact for the landing page team, but will do less of the design work for hotel level pages. I am very excited for the change and to learn new areas of the company.

The jcprovideo.com site added new videos to the site. If you have been to the video gallery of this site you are aware that I was encoding new videos. So be on the lookout for more videos to be posted in the video portfolio section. Well that was shorter than I thought it would be.
